The fee for a general 50-minute session is $145. Other services, e.g. initial intake and diagnosis, assessments, family/couples counseling, and written reports will vary. For established clients, there is no charge for reasonable phone and email communications. Reduced fee services based on a sliding-fee schedule available to those without insurance and experiencing financial hardship. We are not organized to receive Medicaid, Medicare or Denali Kid Care.

Insurance
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. We take most insurances, with the exception of Medicaid/Medical. Some insurance policies require a referral from your doctor or insurance prior authorization. Be sure to confirm this in advance to avoid payment complications. Some employers provide an Employee Assistance Program. Check with your HR department to see if they provide this benefit. Some EAP have their own payment proceedures. You will need to inform us if they do and provide us with the appropriate forms. Reduced fee servcies based on a sliding-fee schedule are available for those without insurance. Limited pro-bono services are available at a substantially reduced rate. This service is available on a referal basis only.
Payment
Self-pay fees are due at the time of your appointment unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Clients will be responsible for all collection and attorney costs in addition to the treatment balance. Cash, check and major credit cards are accepted for payment.
Your Appointment
Because appointment time is reserved specifically for you, it is necessary to charge for failed appointments that are not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. It is not possible to fill the appointment at the last minute, despite the fact that others are waiting in line to have a session. Any exceptions (other than crisis or catastrophic event) must be agreed upon in advance. Otherwise, we will charge the full fee for missed appointments. Missed appointments or failure to pay may result in discharge from services.
